Practicing with the Jaws of Life
Once upon a time (July 9, 2008, to be specific), one of Algonquin Outfitters’ vans needed some routine servicing — an oil change, windshield washer blades replaced, air put in the tires — the usual list. Fire Chief Ted Keown suggested they just drop the van by the station one afternoon, and the mechanically-inclined guys and gals of the Oxtongue Lake Volunteer Fire Department would take care of absolutely everything, including the careful installation of a huge skylight — a really, really, huge skylight.
At no charge.
